''Erithacus rubecula'' is a small insectivorous [[:Category:Passeriformes|passerine]] bird that belongs to the [[:Category:Muscicapidae|Old World flycatchers family]].
<br>Adults of this species are 12.5-14cm in length, with a wingspan of 20-22cm. Both males and females have the same plumage consisting of an orange breast, with a gray belly, and a brownish-gray back. Juveniles have brown feathers, spotted with white and orange dots.
